Can herpes kill in a early age?

    Herpes can be very serious, even fatal, in newborns and infants, but not typically in older children, teens or adults.

      Hi,

      This virus does not cause death, nor cancer, nor is fatal. If the virus is untreated the blisters CAN get infected and give rise to another secondary infection. It is potentially harmful in pregnancy. In pregnancy there is alot to consider, wether the patient had the disease before of after being pregnant.
