Hey Gabriella... Your still very, very early in your recovery. Stiffness is very common up to and through the first year. You may also notice stiffness by certain weather patterns ie.. Cold, damp or even dry weather. I try and stretch as much as possible before and after any exercise. Ibuprofen has seem to help me with stiffness. Also, sometimes I will take a hot shower which also seems to help in reducing my stiffness. Just remember your body has gone through a lot and it will take a long time to get back to "normal" so hang in there and know the stiffness is very common. I'm 6 months post TKR on my left knee and 3 weeks on my right. My left knee is so much better with every month passing. So again, hang in there and relief is just around the corner. Also, congrats on completing and doing a good job with PT. However, remember you should keep doing home PT for as long as needed. Good luck and take care.

Hate to break the bad news...
That stiffness can last 12 to 18 months. You're still a newbie @ 9 weeks. I'm almost 11 months and still feel that tightness a bit. This is a long, long road...
Try some Voltaren Gel (RX in the US). Excellent topical anti-inflammatory.

Then they might understand.
Relax and be patient.
Takes a while.
Best wishes.
