I got lanced yesterday and feel a new growth

So I got lanced yesterday and while cleaning up, I felt a new bump on my left butt cheek. My right one was lanced. The left one feels small and soft. Not hard to the touch but I'm so scared and paranoid it will get big and filled with puss.

I can't see anything right now do you guys think it's an abcess? And if so, why does one heal and a new grows? I can't take this pain anymore... I don't think I could bare another one

I am glad it was a doctor but it does need specialist treatment, GPs have little knowledge of it, lancing might not be the right thing to do.  The unfortunate  new is that they do reacur , they "tunnel"  to different parts of the body, caught early enough there is hope/various treatments that can be tried.  Please see a specialist as soon as.

It sucks just one week after getting lanced a new one has formed on the opposite side.

I tried scheduling an appointment with a regular dr but there's no openings until April. So I will have to keep going to the ER until I can see my gp again sad

I hate my life with this disease already

Have you tried eliminating nightshades from your diet?

Hello I was diagnosed with HS in 11th grade. I am now in my first year of college and I believe I have my HS under control. Like a lot of people I take turmeric capsules everyday to keep inflammation down, eat a vegetarian/vegan diet, and wash the area with antibacterial soap (Dial) and 10% benzoyl peroxide acne wash (PanOxyl). I believe the most beneficial thing (that I haven't seen anyone talk about) I do though is massaging the area with those two products. Seriously, I think that the rubbing and massaging of the skin, boils, scar tissue, etc. helps to keep the HS from flaring up, and if it does flare up, it helps it to heal much quicker than if I did not massage the area. I do this in the shower everyday with each product. I believe rubbing the area with any sort of lubrication you have in the shower helps wonders, from coconut oil to acne wash. I just want to reiterate again that this seriously has helped me so much and I just want everyone to know about it because this disease sucks so much. Massaging the area with a good amount of pressure and some product helps so much!!! Try it!!! Good luck!!!
