Sorry I didn't know how to edit my previous post so I am starting a new one regarding my head pressure and symptoms. please only respond if you are having same symptoms.
For about 4 years now I have been hearing my heart beating in my left ear plus thumping in my head. Since January I have started getting headaches and pressure in my head and eyes. The back of my head has pain too and I think I may have tmj as my jaw clicks and my face hurts. I have seen an ENT specialist and all is ok. My ears crackle and plug to. I had an X-ray done of my head neck and sinuses and everything is good. I did blood work and all is ok. I have tried 2xs to do an MRI and could t do it die to clastrophobic even meds couldn't keep me calm . I'm trying the MRI again in June and I have an CT scan in March. Thursday I have an appt with a neurologist not because dr. Suggested but because I requested it. I'm convinced I have a brain tumor or brain cancer or an anerysum about to happen. Anyone have the same symptoms??? What test have you done? Also, who determines if you need a spinal tap??
Sorry for the long post. My dr. Not worried but I am.

Most likely anxiety has a lot to do with it bit I am so tired and done living like this. I want to feel normal

No easy answer to it ,I wish there was . I've got tinnitus , Sinisitis/ Rhinitis I've had. XRay which showed sinisitus, I've also got balance issue daily on a boat sensation called MDDS .these are all linked into getting this head pain ,which is constant ,but Baratrauma is weather related to a lot as well . It causes a lot of stress and anxiety . Stay with your Dr hope it's as good one as I've got ( female) frustrated is correct ,we all are as non of us find we again get answer to it .A&E won't have an answer ,best they can do is maybe give you a med of some description and send you home and back to your Dr . Maybe we will all get out of bed one day and hey presto it's all gone ,get our lives back . 😥

my symptoms started last year..after a few months they went away and they came back 6 months ago....i went to an open MRI and took 2 valiums and that helped me get thru it...i wanted to see if anything wrong so i just kepy my eyes shut and sang songs in my head and i survived the 90 minutes...the center let me have my sister in there with me holding my hand so i was ok.....try and find a place with the new Open MRI that you can bring someone with you and you will do it.....they checked my brain and head and neck....they did find a tiny, tiny aneurysm and very small benigh brain tumor....but neither is causing my head pain....so they will keep an eye on both and i am not going to worry about them.....i had a cat scan on sinus' and they were clear so i am at the beginning again so hopefully with time they will fade as i'm convinced now that it is menopause and my posture sitting all day at my computer...going to try a deep tissue neck massage and see if that helps...good luck with your tests and just put your mind to it and you will get thru the MRI...along with 2 valiums, that should do the trick...keep us posted.

Ontario does not have open MRI. This is fustrating because this will be the only test that will show anything and I can't do it. I took two diazapram and it didn't help .

Hi I understand your anxiety I've had a head ache that hasn't gone away for over a month now and I too are thinking the worst ( brain tumour ) mybgrabdad passed away that way so my my anxiety is going mental. I've got a ct scan at some point just waiting for the appointment but like your doctor mine also isn't worried , but your probably like me can't seem to believe the doctor because you don't have a definitive answer. Try not to worry to much as hard as it is Hun. As I'm writing this I've just calmed down from a panic attack over my symptoms so would be good to talk to someone about it.
