Endometriosis& Lupron Depot shot& hysterectomy

I need some help,advice, reviews on something's. I am 26 years old. I had a csection in 2008 for my daughter, and a csection in 2014 for my son. While I had my csection for my son (after recovery) I was told by the doctor that I was covered with endometriosis on my bladder(inside and out). Doctor also told me that my bowels, uterus, and bladder were all attached to each other which is attached to my abdominal wall because of scar tissue from my first csection. Doctor that delivered my son cleaned up what she could and closed me up. In march of 2015 I had a tubal liagation because i for sure know I wouldnt want anymore kids and I have a hard time carrying them. My pregnancies weren't to easy and was on bed rest because I was going into early labor with both babies.
When my OBGYN doctor did my tubal he found much more endometriosis on my bladder than the last time I was opened up. Also my bladder, uterus, and bowls were attached to each other and my abdominal wall. Since then I healed but im fed up with the cramping and pain I'm always in. I have a period 2 times in a month! Unbearable cramping before and after period. My OBGYN just wanted to put my on some birth control to call it good. I went for a second opinion with a woman specialist who has been in this practice longer than my age! And my family also uses her(3 aunts and my mom all had hysterectomys with her). Last week on Wednesday she sent me for an ultra sound. Last week on Friday I had an appointment with her, told me that I also have a cyst the size of an orange on my right ovary( something I have dealt with since I was 10 when I started my period). She told me the endometriosis on my bladder is one problem, my organs being attached to each other is another, and the cyst is another problem. My new doctor wants to treat my endometriosis first to control it before going into surgery for hysterectomy.
Sooooo here is my question where I need help and advice.... doctor wants me to get the Lupron Depot shot to 'put me in menopause' for 2 months to slow down the endometriosis in order to not puncture my bladder when doing my hysterectomy(since uterus and bladder are attached). I'm mostly leaning towards not doing the Lupron Depot shot because of all the reviews and symptoms(all are negative).
Has anyone taken the shot? How did it affect you?
Pleaseee help! I had appointment tomorrow for injection but canceled because I'm very nervous with the symptoms from the drug.

I'm so sorry to read about what you are going through. My daughter has stage 3 endometriosis and the dr advised us to put her on Lupron. She has been bleeding non stop for 21 months now and is in constant pain. She does not want the Lupron shot. My daughter is only 16. The whole menopause thing scares her very much.
My thoughts are this, as you are no longer going to have any more children, and your fertility isn't an issue, I would try the Lupron. It is supposed to suppress endometriosis growth by putting the user into menopause. You will have menopausal side effects, but I think this may be a benefit so that surgery can be successful. Fertility can be a major issue after Lupron, but this is out of the equation for you. I'd ask about an add back therapy and calcium supplements, but I think I'd take the risk now that fertility isn't an issue. Good luck in your decision.

I hate knowing kids get affected by this! She's gotten so far and she will over come it make sure she keeps fighting 
My head has been spinning since last week on what to do and your helping me
I needed some outside advice other than family and friends
My doctor did prescribe the add back pill and totally forgot to mention it. I will for sure mention the mesh you had talked about just to help my situation( considering they separated everything 2 times so far and they keep attaching again ughhhh)

I'm not sure where you are located. I'm in San Fransisco. My daughters dr operated on her with a laser and took 5 hours cutting it out of her. We live about 1.5 hours from this specialist, so we also have a local gyno just in case we need someone quickly. Our local dr was found after the surgery. He said that there's no way he'd have been inside our daughter for that long. Time and touching the organs automatically makes them want to adhere to each other. He recommended a very advanced surgical technique known as The da Vinci 3D surgical robot. It shortens op time and prevents after surgery issues like adhesions.

I live in Maine, I spoke to my new specialist doctor today and she is willing to still do my hysterectomy even though I'm not taking the Lupron like she requested. She said it's going to be a very complicated surgery and time consuming.... yikes! I'm willing to take the risk.. she seems very positive about it so it's calming my nerves.
It's very hard to find doctors to trust and feel comfortable with! Glad to know you have a team for your daughter and you for this!!

I'm very sorry that you're having to go through all this. I can't speak to your immediate situation except to say this: I have had 8 major surgeries, 5 of which were abdominal, 2 of which were for endo. I have a massive upside down T on my abdomen due to hysterectomy at 27 and ESB at 54 (Endometriosis Strikes Back). I have found that surgeries tend to go better when I comply with the surgeon's suggestions/directives. You just asked in this forum to hear more horror stories. Perhaps it would serve you better to talk to the surgeon? What s/he hopes is to keep your surgery completely "on target." Any variable that threatens that goal needs to be dealt with so that one surgery isn't turned into a massive emergency where everything can go wrong. PLEASE talk to the surgeon about your concerns.

I am in the same boat as you. I have to take it until the swelling and cysts goes down enough to safely operate. I am supposed to get the shot as soon as it gets to the doctor's office. I have found more negative videos or posts than positive. I wish you luck
