Headache since 3 weeks

Hello ! I'm new here , I've been wanting to know about my headaches for a while now .
Last month I had a pilonidal sinus excision done. I was given spinal anesthesia and after my recovery I had some slight side effects like a headache but I soon consulted my surgeon and he prescribed some medicines. It was cured and I was fine but after 2 weeks I began feeling weird .I started having mild sharp pain on the left side of my head and a slightly stiff neck.
After a week it got worse .The pain spread all over my head and the pain wasn't unbearable it was just annoying . I did a huge mistake searching my symptoms on the net and thought I had brain cancer or something .My parents tried to make me understand but still deep down I think something's wrong with my head . I consulted my GP and he said it was usual stress related headache and then later I was not satisfied so I went back to my surgeon and asked him if I'm having side effects of the spinal anesthesia. He said that my headaches are stress related and I should start drinking coffee and also said to consult an Eye doctor . I still haven't had an MRI I'm just too scared to kno what's in my head . Sometimes I feel dizzy but not extremely . My head and neck just feels weird and heavy .sometimes my ear hurts .
So I want to know if this is something I should be concerned about or is it my anxiety growing day by day ?
Please help ..!

I think you know what you have to do, to get to the bottom of your anxiety, and that is to have that MRI. This is the only way that will calm your anxiety. Its highly unlikely anything sinister is going on, as you have seen your GP and the specialist, but you want to get to find the answers to your questions and only this will calm your nerves.
Nobody on here can say if there is anything that you should be concerned about and it would be wrong if they did. So do get that MRI and then you will finally know.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are here for your support.
Good luck and take care

Thank you for your advice . I'm actually going to the ophthalmologist tomorrow and I'll discuss with the doctor . I'll have an MRI if he suggests to have one.
