Toilet seat raisers?

Hi i am now approx 8wks post op and feel able enough to stop using the toilet raisers.is there a set no of weeks you should use them before stopping or is it when you feel ready?

    Good morning! As long as you have no precautions like no bending past 90 degrees and your able to support yourself to get up off seat, as some toilets can be really low. Then you should be good to go!! Hugs 🤗 LD

    I tried without for a few days at about 6 weeks before deciding I no longer needed it, then returned it much to my partners plesaure!

    Hi. I stopped using at 6 weeks so I guess it is when you feel ready to stop using the raised seat. Good luck !

    When your doc says you don't need to follow all the restrictions anymore is usually around 6-8 weeks.

    I waited until I saw Consultant first 7 week post op. He told me to use till 12 weeks .

    I lowered mine after about 6 weeks going down a notch each week on the bottom rung so to speak. Think doing it gradually is a good option just to be on the safe side.

    Hi, I don't think that there is a set time because everyone heals differently.  As long as you can get up and down without any issues, you shouldn't need the raisers anymore.  Glad to hear you are doing wellsmile
