Hi, I'm wondering if someone could help me. I've been suffering from some Ms symptoms, my mri scan was clear so was a huge relief so a lot of tingling and numbness went away so my GP is adamit it was anxiety doing all this same as dizziness.... The dizziness I'm not buying as I've had this for 18 months now and it's constantly there I'm not as bad when kids are in bed and I'm perfectly fine getting up no dizziness or anything does anyone else suffer with this

Hi Claire, Sorry to hear your having these problems! I am suffering with dizziness, I had a headache for 8 days then i started feeling dizzy for about 4 days even though the headaches have stopped, i also started getting a tingle and numbness sensation in my arms and legs (this worried me that much my partner took me to the A&E),  which the doctor tried to reassure me that it wasn't anything serious such as stroke or brain tumor! I have been to my doctors and all the blood tests came back as normal but i feel anyrhing but normal with  this dizziness.  I am fine in the morning but late on in the afternoon/evening time it seems to get worse! I am going back to the doctors tomorrow as they do want to double check for diabetes, so again i will be mentioning this dizziness as its quite scary and the only people that are going through this dizzy problem understand!

    Hope you get sorted!

I'm the same, i am fine in the morning then after walking around for a while the dizziness comes on, and a sort of feeling as though i am drunk kinda feeling going on its weird and very scary feeling as though your floating inside your own head!

?I went and got more blood tests this morning for diabetes and if nothing comes back from that i will be asking for more health checks as your right this is not normal! Did you find out what a ENT is?  I don't know either!

Claire try not to worry about MS now you have had your scan.

As you will see many people on this forum including myself suffer from anxiety, which in turn can lead the body into alsorts of weird and not so wonderful symptoms.

If your dizziness has persisted for so long, why have you not been referred to ENT??

Don't let the doctors diagnosis of anxiety be primary, as these symptoms have a strong possibility of secondary anxiety due to an underlaying problem with your vestibular system. Seek specialist advice.

    Hope you get your answers

I do have a Servere anxiety disorder but there's definitely more to it with the dizziness I'm ok for an hour or so in morning then for the rest of the day it's horrendous its more of a Lightheaded feeling but it's all day and had it for 18 months now... I'm really frightened by it sorry what's ENT. thanks for replying back to me

Claire an ENT is Ear Nose and throat specialist.

The anxiety will most likely be secondary to a vestibular problem that needs investigation.

Anxiety makes 'IT' worse, and 'IT' then triggers the anxiety.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm going through hell at the moment

Only thing found in blood group is low folate (Folic acid), so really concerned now as that's nothing
