Just got a casemanager. What is that for? Confused.

I am hoping someone can tell me why I was referred by my family doctor to go to someplace for an intake. I wasn't sure what that was either.

I answered questions. Then she said she would set me up with case management.

So i am wondering what is the intake for...and what is case management for? Kiind of scary because I don't know what this means or why or anything.

Your Doctor must have considered your complaint and decided you need additional help

Sometimes this can be a class of people who suffer Mental Health problems and you will be discussing your concerns with a group of like minded people, A CPN or other Health Professional may givenn advise around the group.

Sometimes you will get visits at home at different times, although I feel when they mention an intake it means a group of People with similar problems.
