Constant sweaty plams and excessive sweating from armpits

Posted , 4 users are following.

I am 14 years old and I have constant sweaty plams all day apart from at night. I also sweat loads from my armpits in the day but once again not at night. This is becoming very embarrassing as I always have sweat patches and wet hands which isn't very pleasant. Any advice?

See your doc he had identify and help. Some people inherit overactive sweat glands.

glands. My mom Had this and is less common form of hyperhidrosis causes sweating all over the body -- not just on the hands or feet. Secondary general hyperhidrosis is also more serious medically. It's called secondary because it's being caused by something else, such as an underlying health condition.

sometimes anxiety, or even lack of sleep. Be sure to drink lots of water and replenish electrolytes. See ur doc for a diagnosis . I don't know your health history or what meds you take. Some side effects of meds can also make sweating a side effect.

    Hopexxx

    Hi Katie!

I am so sorry you're experiencing this. I have hyperhidrosis and know how you feel but I have found some relief! I use Certain Dri antiperspirant and it really helps control my sweating throughout the day, which in turn keeps in somewhat controlled throughout the rest of my body. Don't get me wrong I still sweat more than I would like from time to time, but this has helped the bigger picture of what I was initially dealing with. Hope this helps and good luck!
