crohns

I have been treated for Polymyalgia rheumatica for 5 years all sorts of nasty drugs.Now been told it may be crohns inflamation of bowel .I have servere pains in legs and arms the big muscle .no pain in bowel movments no problems with bowels .on iron tablets  suffed a heart attack six month ago ,feel sure tablets had something to do with it .Can anyone tell me if these muscle symptons with no bowel problems is crohns .

    It does not sound at all like my Crohn's Colitis.. . but Crohn's can also attack the upper aspect of the gastrointestinal tract.

    See a gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and biopsy.

    Sorry to hear you are suffering so much, but I am not a Doctor or specialist but having suffered with Colitus for the last 5 years and having a Brother that has suffered a lot longer, it doesn't sound like you have Crohns or Colitus because you appear not to have the bowel problems.  Go to the medical people that can sort you out.  Everyone suffers different systems.  I hope you get it sorted soon.
