hi lynne im also 58 ive had anxiety most of my life ive posted many times on here. but ive had this health anxiety for almost a year now with physical symptons 1 after the other im convincing me i have a fatal disease or im goña have a heart attack any minute now and i wont see my kids any more. ive been on citalopram and setraline but the side effects are horrendous. i also sufdr from morning anxiety but im better at nightimes. im on 50 mg imipramine and '5 mg clonozepam at the mo but i dont know if its helpïng me or not. im a bit scared to go out too far from home. home is my safety zone at the mo. i usally cry when im on my own. when the kids are not here but they come around every evening. im not so bad then. at the mo all the other symptons have gone now i hyperventilation. this will last for a while until i focus on something else. like ill get a headache and ill focus on a brain tumour and the shortness of breath will be gone symptons 1 after the other

Yes, at the moment I have a cry most days. I feel like it's a mix of the release of tension from struggling with anxiety all day, some self-pity about how I think I've failed in life and grief for everyone i've lost especially my mum. Just sadness that I'm in this situation (anxiety) I guess. I'm 63 and male. Warmest wishes to you.

Yes I have crying spells mostly because I'm so tired of all this and then I tend to think about the times I felt normal which makes me cry more. My symptoms are mostly discomfort in the chest, feeling like I can't breathe, lightheadedness and dizziness. Those are just the current ones. Couple months back I had more than that. Take care.
