Cyst 5m on left ovary in 2012 was not removed now heavy menstrual cycle

In 2012 doctor found cyst on left ovary it was 5m so he left it did not remove it.doctors just found white spot on my cervix. Now my periods come anytime day before I am very tired sleep alot bad bad pain in right leg. While having period I have bad pain in lower right side and in lower right side my back some in middle left of naval . My periods are heavy with alot of blood clots coming out. I do not have insurance so with this pain etc should I go to er or try wait til end Dec and go health department and has anyone had these symptoms what was it if so

    I don't know how things work if you're in the US. Here in UK we would go to our primary care doctor to ask for a referral to a consutant in gynaecology. If you feel too ill to carry on I think ER would be best. They could probably give more info on what to do next. Best wishes. x rolleyes

    I have had exactly the same. I persisted with the doctor and got referred to specialist. They removed my right Ovary 3 years ago. Now back in for another surgery in 6 weeks to remove more cysts and tie my tubes. My advice would be to try get it sorted. It's not life threatening so don't worry too much.

      Did you have pain in your bladder and bowels Tanya ? I think I've the same problem as I've already lost my left fallopian tube due to an ectopic pregnancy 13 yrs ago and I've had 3 c sections as my pelvis never grew during puberty. The pain never goes away.

      Yeah sounds the same. I did feel pain, felt lik someone was pulling on my ovaries all the time. Xx

      I'm getting constipated and have constant stabbing pain in my bladder all the time. This period lasted 6 days instead of my normal 2 - 3 days and the pain was immense. It's given me uti in September and the antibiotics I was given, I had an allergic reaction too. I'm hoping to see my gynaecologist soon but he's our of the country until the 19th of December .

      Well I also have a mass in my bladder and urethra has been repaired so not sure if pain is related to this.

    I have a 4cm cyst on my left ovary and my periods have become heavy with clots, I get a lot of thigh pain and pain in my left hip. I'm yer to see my gynaecologist here in the uk but I want mine removed immediately as it's causing problems with my bladder and bowels so I feel your pain.

      My surgery 3 years ago was also because the cyst had attached to the bowels and intestines x

      I had a period 2 weeks ago and bleed for 6 days. Today I've started another period. Ice been in a lot of pain for weeks now with no let up. Still waiting to see my gynaecologist as I can't keep going on like this . Any one else had this problem ?

      Oh yeah, still going through it now. If it's that bad get down to a and even. It sometimes gets to that point. Xx I have got my pre op a week Tuesday. Xx

      Think I will wait till I can see my gynaecologist as he's lovely and he will get me sorted. Good luck Tanya with your pre op x
