Cystoscopy due to blood in urine

I recently had a UTI infection. The infection has now cleared but a doctor referred me for a cystoscopy because of blood in the urine. I had the cystoscopy today and it was clear. i have also had scans for kidney stones/kidney infection. All were clear but the doctor still wants me to see a nephrologist due to the blood in the urine. Has anyone else been referred in this way? I would prefer to leave it a month or so and have the urine test repeated. Maybe this is too soon after the infection cleared? By the way the cystoscopy itself caused no problems, just minor discomfort.

Thanks. I want to ask the GP to delay referral for further tests for a month or so and then test the urine again. Sure I haven't got endometriosis.
