The best thing that I can tell you is everyone is different. I was put on it, took 2 doses and went crazy, as my husband explained. I was looped for three days from just the two doses, that's when I was put on Lyrica, that the doctor steadily increased. I quit everything 6 months ago, I hurt but I can live my life compared to when I was on meds. You must remember to research research and research. If it doesn't work try something else. Acupuncture worked for me tons compared to the pain clinic. Decide if this is something that you are willing to take forever. Diet is something else I have heard helps. Above all keep your mind straight. I wouldn't drive nor go to a doctor without my husband. I had 8 specialist, only 2 knew what they were doing. I would write a summary of the appointment afterwards,it kept my mind somewhat clear. Once I quit everything life got better, my eyes are horrible,I believe from taking Lyrica for a year. Keep up to date on your symptoms and what side effects you have from your meds. Goodluck

Hi jaynektf I personally have tried this med twice and didn't suit me at all but that dissent mean it won't work for you as many people find it works brilliantly I've tried most things now currently in morphine patches , amathriytaline (don't think that's how it's spelt) prescription anti inflammatorys but still in lots of pain daily it can be really frustrating finding the right medications just so you can get through the day I've now been off work for 5 months hope things work out for you I wish you luck x
