Absolutely - I also experience dizziness when lifting heavy objects, coughing, or hearing loud sounds.

You didn't mention any other symptoms? Do you have Meniere's? Vestibular? Tinnitus? Have you ever suffered a head injury?

You might want to get a complete physical, including a hearing test and talk to a neurotologist. If this just started, nip it in the bud and get all the help you can before it takes on a life of it's own.

Wishing you the best of luck and hope you get some answers.

Yes I've seen a neurologist, ent, vestibular therapy and nothing helped. I have a appointment at the University of Maryland to see a specialist in a few weeks. I have several other symptoms including ear pain, rinnging, ear pressure, can't sleep in certain positions, dizziness, motion sickness, ext! I actually drove for the first time the other day in months. I have been feeling better compared to a few months ago. Just want to be able to drive again.

Hello, You should see a neuro otologist. To check your inner ear. Ask about something called superior canal dehiscence syndrome. That is where there is a tiny hole in the inner ear bone. Do loud sounds make you dizzy?

Yes sometimes loud sounds cause dizziness. I notice I feel the worst when I go into a bank or convenience store. Also if I get upset or excited I feel dizzy.
