Dry mouth

Anyone else get periods of time when your mouth feels dry. Like your tongue is dry and it can sometimes make it hard to swallow? Even drinks don't help. Had it these past few days and had it a few weeks back, think it's to do with anxiety.

Hello Sarah, I get this, but in my case I know it's due to the medication I take which is for depression. In your case you may be particularly anxious about something. Whatever, if you find it keeps happening do go to your GP as I am sure that a  mild anti-depressant would be helpful.

    Hi

I also take anti depressants and sometimes get the same thing. But I visited my GP a year back for blood test and found out that I was diabetic type 2. Another sign was having to pee alot.

One of the most common side effects of antidepressants is a dry mouth. There are various products on the market to help with this problem. I use boots dry mouth spray which works wonders for me.
