Ear pulsating when sharing personal info

I know this sounds weird but wondering if anyone else experiences this:

When I share something deeply personal or get vulnerable in a conversation or share something close to my heart, my right ear kind of pulsates or shakes inside. It's like a brief little drumming inside my ear. Sometimes that actually confirms for me "oh I must be saying something really important to me". Does anyone else experience this? Thanks!

Sounds to me that by expressing your most important details, you sending your blood pressure up and that is reflected in the pulses of your ear, not an expert but sounds reasonable to me. Not sure why only one ear,can you take your pulse? See if that has increased too.

Hi, I had a very similar situation all through my childhood. Whenever I was especially nervous, especially when it was quiet around me I would hear a thumping or thrumming. After a CAT scan I discovered a blood vessel in my ear was out of place and much nearer my eardrum than normal, allowing me to hear my own heartbeat when my blood pressure was elevated. In case doctors were able to cauterize the vessel and take care of the problem for me, if it is bothering you too much you may want to talk to an ENT specialist about it.

Wow good info thank u! It's very sporadic and it doesn't bother me but would it have dangers otherwise?

No, they told me I could choose to do nothing and it would have no adverse effects. I chose to have it done because I was starting to get annoyed with the sounds, I would notice them whenever it would get too quiet. My decision was made after the CAT scan was read and determined the blood vessel was not important to blood flow; it was just extra. I hope this has helped :-) I would still reccomende seeing an ENT specialist, they will be the only ones who can determine for sure what is going on.

Mine does it too.  I think it is a spasm.  It was my left side that does it but I havent put a connection to stress tho.  It very well could be.  I have a heart beat in my ear since I had surgery but this isnt my heart beat.  Its a knocking spasm sound.  The ENT specialist is called a Neurotologist.  If you find something out , please share  on here.

Ok I will. It doesn't bother me just made me wonder if anyone else had insight, so I don't think for now I'll seek out professional input
