Did the A&E also do lab work to confirm there was no cardiac involvement? They probably did I just want to check and make sure. The nerve damage diagnosis would explain the arm pain but you would need to have an MRI or nerve conduction test done to confirm that diagnosis before I was comfortable saying that is the cause of the arm pain. Have you ever had a panic attack or anxiety? The symptoms of it often present like an MI with chest tightness and even shortness of breath. Panic attacks are very real and can make you feel like you are dying. If it could have been a panic attack than seeing a good therapist or taking a holiday may be just what the doctor ordered. Good Luck dear.

Hi there. I had the same admittance back in August with much higher blood pressure and the same pulse... They put me on a monitor for the day and took blood tests. Did they do that for you? After that a follow up appointment was made with a 48 hour monitor. Have you had that done for you? If not make sure you ask for that or see your GP.

However. I still get them really badly, I am awake all night long sometimes. I don't know whether they are triggered by anxiety and once they take hold panic sets in and before you know it you are back in the circle?

Good luck I hope you sort it out. Let me know if you get s definite diagnosis.

    Hi Meljenk

It sometimes does happen, you seem to have symptoms that seems to indicate a heart problem, and don't.

If you are really worried about it, see your doctor so that he can send you to a specialist. Good luck
