Some peope do report some pain for a short period. It's usually as a result of having air pumped into you to facilitate the scope.

Guess I'm lucky not to have experienced this with the number of scopes I've had over 23 years. Hope the pain quickly resolves. If not, call the department back.

I had mine done on Tuesday, I had pain in the same place, similar to having a really bad stitch after running. it was just from the air trapped in my system and it worked itself out fairly quickly. I was advised to move around to help it work its way out though so maybe that'll help you too. If it doesnt resolve fairly soon I would say to give your doctor or endoscopy department a quick call, but honestly it is more than likely just the trapped air.
