Hi, my 15 year old daughter, has epilepsy, and on medication.

I have a question her recent period (came on yesterday), however in pain today, and has a hot water bottle on her stomach, BUT in pain with her stomach, is it ok to give her Feminax, to help with her cramping? If not what would be recommended? Some advice would be extremly grateful! Thanks a worried concerned parent.

    Hi Shelly,

I'm not sure of the official line but I've always used feminax as period pain usually cause me to have additional seizures. I find Feminax can ease some of the pain.

Although it depends what medication your daughter is on too incase it reacts with feminax. Best to ask the pharmacist or your gp.
