essential tremor

hi im in early 20s. ive had essential tremor for the past 2 months. also been diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome. im taking propranolol to reduce the tremor. what matter the most whether the tremor is due to the medication or not because im afraid it will affect my future since im taking a degree in fine work field. im worried that i wont be able to pursue my degree. currently im in clinical year but i cannot do any treatment to the patient since my hands been shaking  vigorously that i can't even hold my instrument properly. does anyone know anything about this?
