Excessive wind and GF

Posted , 2 users are following.

I had a fairly busy weekend, although did pace myslef and this morning have really bad wind. I have taken a Rennie windease which usually helps. Does anyone else have excessive wind after maybe doing a bit too much?

I have had GF for 16 weeks now, although it is much more managable now. It is hard though to gauage what is caused by GF and what is 'normal', like toda could be as I had a lentil daal last night but then I have had wind symptons since getting GF.

Any advice on relieving wind much appreciated. Thank you

    Hey Stokie,

Sorry to hear about this problem you're having, it's good to hear the symptoms are a bit more manageable now at least that it some progress, and you will continue to make progress.

I'm trying to think back from my own experience, I think I might have had a time too when I felt winded and bloated more than usual if I remember rightly, very uncomfortable but my memory is that it didn't bother me long term though, I really hope that it the case for you too Stokie. I think it's very possible with this virus to cause anything like that, not really sure of what remedies are good for that but worth looking into see if anyone else here has any thoughts.

Hope things continue to go in a good direction for you.

Thank you Craig much appreciated. Think I overdid it at the weekend as my tongue is playing up although not as bad as previous times. Think like others have posted elsewhere you get little setbacks however they don't appear to be as bad.

Hope you are okay Craig and thanks again for your continued support to myself and others on here.

It's easy done Stokie to overdo it, jus thope things settle down soon, the set backs will become less and less and time goes by that will be something to look forward to for sure. Try not to worry will definitely get there.

      Craig
