Feeling annoyed

I received a letter to off the benefits to tell I am no longer eligible for sick pay. I am fit for work am so annoyed as some days I struggle to get out of bed. I would love nothing more to go back to work but at this present moment it's so hard just to do daily stuff like get myself dressed without being in pain am so annoyed with this government an benefits ace worked all my life an nw I can't due to the pain an have someone telling me I can when they dnt even now what I go thro on a daily basis rant over 😒😢 xx

    I know how u feeling kirsty I am still at work it is a struggle but until I hear back from the benefits agency I can't afford to stop I have cut my hours to part time but still in pain every day but that's the government for u today hope u get sorted soon

      Its so annoying Debbie I loved working but right now its something I can't do. Its so hard just to get by an with are government making things so hard for ppl. I feel for you Debbie having to go to work as Its a struggle doing daily things.. Hope you get sorted soon

    First of all Hun hugs x the doctor wanted to sign me of the other week as the pain in my hole body was hurendous I declined at the time as it was my first day back after 14 months maternity! So I'm back part time and everything has been ok when in pain I'm taking my tramadol but yesterday I was at the desk most of day leaning to put paper work into files and oh my am I paying for it today my back is absolutely done in and my rib cage ! The tramadol sate doing nothing nor are the ametriptoline so I feel your pain Hun I'm 34 with 3 children who are 1 11 and 15 my poor15 year old is like my carer helping with daily thing and helping me care for my one year old ! No advise really as not sure how the system works with fibro but just to let u no your not alone xx

      Thanks Sadie I was working up till last Yr. an it all went wrong with my health I was pregnant with twins but 1 was ectopic an was normal. I lost both of them but as I was to far gone to miscarry on my own had to have the op to remove them after that they left some of the fetus inside me which caused infection.. Ever since that I have been ill an just getting worse I have a 17 16 an 10 yr old my 16 does a lot for me but my husband works full time on the taxis but does all the house I feel terrible having to rely on them makes me so upset

      I had 7 miscarriages Hun and my little one who was born last year was a miracle as he was a twin and we lost the other baby to be honest the fibro properly kicked in after my son was born July last year since then I have cried most days in pain it's so horrible I hate having this makes me so sad 😔

      God that must of been horrible for u chick... Ye am the same am sick of being in pain I cry most days because of it an the way I am ave always been a active person an to be like this is so horrible 😢 xx

      I'm totally the same I used to be outgoing hyper the soul of any party now I don't even drink cause of the meds can I ask what medication your on ?

      At the moment am only on co-drydamol an naproxen till I see a pain specialist which I have been waiting to see since jan. my doctors are awful no help wat so Eva I was told by her that am a mystery 😡 xx

      Oh my god Hun I would get a different doctor they sound worse than mine but at least I am on meds even though today there not working 😕

      Ye a no I am going to cos all so seem to get is fobbed off with them 😒. Really is there no others they can try u with ?

      Going back on the 15th so I think next thing is oral morphine which. I don't want as it knocks me out so god knows Hun getting annoyed with it all xx

      The hospital gave me that when I was admitted it took the edge off the pain for me.. But when I asked my gp for it when I run out she wouldn't give me it.. You don't want that do Ye especially with a young baby it just no good not being able to get pain relief that's helps 😢 xx

      I no I was on zapain which didn't take pain away just made me all sleepy and tramadol just takes the edge of and ametriptoline well it's meant to relax your muscles and make u sleepy well that doesn't to me think I need some sleepers to ! Will soon find out this week what else the want to hone to me !! Oh the joys

      I have had tramadol they don't do nothing for me. I have sleepers but I try not to take them to much they make me feel really crap. I hope you get some help when you go xx

      Instead of Oral Morphine (I am presuming that you mean liquid morphine?)....there are Slow Release oxycontin tabs that slowly adbsorb over 12 hours, and don't have the same horrible effect as the liquid......I take 2.x 20mgms a day, and do feel that these, along with the others of Gabapentin and Amitriptylline are helping me.....they do take a few weeks to build up in our system, and are worth taking.......as you say, a new doc, and a visit/s to a Rhuematologist maybe your answer????........good luck.....also in relation to the original topic, it sounds like me having " to prove that I was Capable of working 30+ hours in 2010, ( which is when I   had to stop working, even part-time,...... only worked those hours as that was all that was available,... not by my choice), as the insurance company here asks of me, to get some financial assistance....................we pay taxes for others to live without Ever having worked, but because we don't know how to "work the system"....can't win....................................................rolleyes​Bron

      Thanks bron I waiting to see the rhumeatologist.. Also pain specialist. I would noting more to go back to work I have worked since I was 15 yrs old and enjoy being active not being able to house work or even walk the lil man to school upsets me 😢
