feeling depressed and confused

I just sometimes have to ask WHY?  Why me?  my fissure has obviously come back with a vengence.  My doctor about a month ago prescribed the special compounding ointment to use and I completely changed my diet habits to eating all healthy whole foods.  Tons of fruit  and veggies.  No red meat of any kind just fish.  Drinking tons of water too.  I went about 2 weeks feeling great and no blood and then BOOM today some blood and that horrible pinch you feel.  No drastic pain or anything.  Does this happen to any of you?

    Hi Elizabeth,

I can honestly say that I know how you feel. After treatment earlier in the year, I had been feeling much more positive, as although things weren't 100% better it was certainly very near. However, today I had a difficult time going to the toilet and for the first time in months now have some pain. I will admit to 'falling off the wagon' somewhat with the fruit and veg and water, but have been using linseeds and taking Dulcoease regularly. I will now have to be very careful as I don't want to go back to how things were last year when the pain would make me cry. I think I had got a bit overconfident as I haven't had the pain for a while, and thought I could go back to how I used to be, eating anything and not taking care with my diet. Just carry on doing what you are doing with the diet and water - with any luck this will just be a blip. You certainly aren't alone - hope this helps a little.

Hello.  What bothers me the most is that I went back to my doctor for the follow up and he said everything looks good so I assume I am healed up.  I've been following a very strict diet and then blood again.  Really no pain to speak of this time around.  I just feel so depressed.

And just vasaline every after bm shower before sleep! This is the patient talking who is dealing almost a year and tried every single cream (rectiv ... Diltiazem) every single diet (just fruit and boilded vege. With water) and did not worked at all! Pain goes for 3 weeks and comes back! Comes back like big time takings revenge! Its been 2 months im just doing gluten free diet and no red meat no fast food just cooking at home and im using a lot of olive oil so my poop does not comes out dry. And every day at 5-6 pm miralac stool softener! And 3 and a half lt. Of water. Thats is yes im not healed but at least i can go work/gym/ smile again!

Thank you for your response.  Do you have a cronic one?  I guess mine is cronic at this point.  I sit in a sitz bath atleast 2 x a day for comfort.  I just don't want that surgery.  I always say why can't I go to the bathroom like everyone else.  What is wrong with me.  Good Grief!  I am gluten free now.  I feel better.  Eating so good and clean.

Hey Elizebeth. I experienced the same like you before. I suffered more or less about 1 yrs ans 4 months. The specialist recommended surgery. I learned quite a bit  from you tube on how the surgey done. Going through my previous blood test, I found my liver function test is somehow slightly elevated but still below maximun. So I tried Livrin Thomsom 300 supplement. After 1-1/2 months, realized my fissure in ano has no more discharge. Until now, so far so good. Hope you will find the cure and all the best to you.

    Hi Elizabeth,

so sorry that your fissure came back...that really must feel horrible both mentally and physically......I will tell you that if you have a chronic fissure, which I had too, I would not totally ignore the surgery as an option......If you want any feedback on the surgery please feel free to message me....I had the surgery and have never been happy with somehting more in my life.....As long as you have a veery  good surgeon...the chances of all the side effects you hear of are very slim...

    feel free to message me

    Best,

    Myles
