graves disease

My family has a history of graves disease and i have all of the symtom .My doctor said yesterday that i have to give blood . will they figure out if i have graves disease from my blood

    It’s possible.  Usually they will check thyroid tests such as TSH, Free T3 and Free T4 but the definitive blood test is for Graves antibodies.  So yes if they do those tests, they should be able to diagnose you.  In addition to this, my Endocrinologist also did a Radioactive Uptake scan and an ultrasound.

      In the States it's called TRAb.  In Canada they do TSI and TBII.
