Had colonscopy today.

So I will try to make this long story short. If that is possible. So going way back to New Years I was at the casino with my gf And I had crazy left side pain and it lasted for couple hours and never came back. Well I didn't think much of it after that and went on with life then I started getting anxeity around feb and ended up in ER with chest pains and everything and I was told I was fine but had anxeity. Then as time went by I started noticing every time I would poop it was yellowish on outside and when I wiped. Told dr I went to and she kinda just blew it off after doing blood work.

So went back few months later and had stomach cramps. She did urine urinalysis and blood work came back fine. So in sept I had major constipation and blood on stool. She told me I probably had IBS ( which does not make you bleed) And went back and she did finger anal exam and said she found no hemmoroids or anything to come back if it happens again. 2 days later bleeding again. Still having co agitation, blood on still in mucus sometimes. Crazy rumbling stomach with gas I could barely pass, thin stools sometimes. So I had gi appointment on November 25th who talked to me a lot and asked my symptoms and everything about family history of IBD and colon cancer. ( my grandmas did die of colon cancer around age 42 ). So by this point I could barely eat anything without stomach rumbling with gas and feeling sick and very burpy and had to take stool softness to poop which was always getting backed up in me. And sometimes would ha diarrea right after or in same bowel movement. I've had bright red blood to a peice that was almost tarry with blood mixed in it. To maroon blood. Weird stool shapes some that looked almost bent in half with each ends touching.

So I was sure I have partial blockage with colon cancer I mean dead certain. To point I would break down every night or after every bowel movement. I was even getting left side pains and pains on left side back like something was had pushing on my back from being full or Tumor.

So had colonscopy today and he said everything looks normal but I don't have a pic of the left upper colon where it bends (which s where I tend to get pain). And I have a pic that shows nomslicific inflammation rectum (but pic can't see anything but like skin almost if you taken a camera and put it 2 inches away from your skin and snapped a pic. Then on second page I have a pic that says external hemorrhoids rectum but doesn't even look like that pic was taking from external rectum. And looks closed shut no hole.

So how can I have all those symptoms and not have anything wrong with my colon no IBD no polyps no cancer?I just knew something was wrong and I never go to doctor. And use to use bathroom like 10 mins after I ate for years with no constipation now I can't even poop without medicine? And go for days with no bowel movement. So confused but I do have the standard follow up with him in 7 days which is normal even if everything was fine the nurse said.

I got prescribed Proctocort and famotidine. I think that's what he prescribed the hand writing is super bad lol. So is one of these suppose to fix me from gurgling gas and being stopped up ? Could he have missed something?

Sorry for the long post.

It is unlikely that he missed something.

And the inside of us looks nothing like the outside of us.

Many things effect our bowel habits. Try to incorporate prunes, peaches, raisins, food that keeps things moving naturally. And drink plenty of water...without water, things can not move properly.

I hope you can be relieved that you do not have cancer.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. The pics he gave me has two of the same pics on it and is missing the number 2 pic by the numbering on the pics? Goes from 1 to 3.
