Has anyone experienced an itchy rash after taking Ramipril?

After taking 5mg of Ramipril for a week I came out in a very itchy rash and even though I stopped taking it immediately I still have have the condition nine months later.

    Hi. I was on Ramipril for a couple of months but stopped because of a cough, which subsided within 2 weeks. Don't know much about a rash as a side effect, but nine months is a long time for a side effect to continue. Good luck.

    Yes I had very bad itching on my legs but without the rash - I think the skin looked inflamed because of so much scratching but the itch went away after about a week of the Ramapril being stopped.

      Thank you for your kind reply, the rash effect is caused by the skin becoming very soft at the point of itching and then takes several weeks to heal, which leaves blemishes.
