Headaches

Over the past year and a half, I have been struggling with headaches everyother day. I also have been having a racing heart, but not as often. Once a month or so. I've been to a PT, massage therapist, a headache specialist, and a chiropractor. My chiropractor thinks it is from stress, but when I am visibly stressed - I don't get a headache. I was thinking it was from something that I am eating, but I cannot find a common pattern in my food diaries. Maybe gluten or dairy? or is it really stress??
I did notice today that I had a monster migraine when I got to work. I was anticipating a very stressful day at work (it was fine though) and after I got home and had dinner - my headache was gone.
Thoughts?

All I can suggest to eliminate food possibilities is the bland diet for a month. Rice or plain potatoes, steamed vegetables and plain chicken or white fish if you eat them. Cut out all caffeine and alcohol. You'll be a bit short on a few vitamins and minerals for a month but if you've previously eaten healthily you'll be ok. If the headaches stop in that month then chances are it's food related.
Then you can gradually introduce other foods. Always look at everything you've eaten and drunk in the previous 24 hours.
Good luck.

I think a lot of my headaches have to do with stress, but I also get them on the weekends too. Ugh. I like your idea of eating reallly blandly to see if that helps. I might have to start that to see.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Today, I went to the doctor to seek some answers. I was getting tired of waiting for appointments and nothing seesm to work to help me out of this mess and I get no explanations. Im constatnly looking here and elsewhere for suggestions. If I beelieve what I read on the internet, Ive got eveyrthing under the sun.
I said to the doctor I can't carry on like this......if it is gonna cost me to pay to see someone privately, then so be it. So should I see a masseur, a chiroprator, an accupuncturist....who should I go for.
She said..I perfectly understand. Unfortunately, your concerns are at the edge of what a general practioner can do. In all honesty, If I was in your postion, I would spend my money on seeing a private neurologist at a reputable establishment.
I'm passing this on to you all.

I decided to test chocolate again yesterday - ate 4 small chocolate buttons. Within 2 hours headache, nausea, dizziness. I'll be keeping chocolate on my banned list.
