    Hi Joycemadine

I am the same, except I've had headaches/migraines about 40 years and CS about 10 years.  I find when my neck is bad it affects my head and vice versa, but as far as I know, and speaking to loads of specialists over the years, the CS can definitely cause headaches because the same nerves are involved.  You should maybe go and see someone if you haven't already.

Good luck, I know what it's like and what you are going through and there are plenty of others going through the same. x

To be honest you have to, because in my experience nobody cares, I have seen more GPs, consultants, neurologists and alternative practitioners than I care to mention and I am no further on now at 49 than I was at 9.  At the moment I am on my 13th day of having a headache, which means my neck is worse aswell.  I have prescription tablets for my headaches which I am limited to 10 a month, already I've gone over that, but what am I supposed to do??

Hopefully you can find someone that can help you x

I use eletriptan (Relpax) and also an ibuprofen at the same time.  They are really good and work very well, but they're strong and you're not supposed to take too many.  Trouble is I can't function with a headache and I have a business to run so I have to take them and wait for the cluster to pass, I can then go 3 weeks without.

      What do you take? x
