Help needed

can Anyone help please. I have IC in pain everyday no relief. CT scan my spleen is enlarged Had a prolaspe and bladder surgery, the sling was a huge mistake. Anyone suggestion for relief for any of the IC symptoms

    Hi, Sorry your experiencing such severe symptoms, l guess youve already been offered amitriptylene, which often helps, heat patches, tens machine, Can you check out the c.o.b site as they specialise in info and advice on all bladder problems, l think theres a phone line if needed, and a forum, with mods who advice. best wishes

      I'm on Gabapentin, they can only offer me certain meds, or even med put me in retention, I had to be chaterderized of the hospital. I'm also on Elmiron. I live in the US. So hard work 100 characters

      Sorry my phone's picks words. My reply should have said. One bladder med put me in retention and in the hospital not of. Low dose bladder meds do nothing. High dose=retention

      Really sorry, l have i.c and had it for years undiagnosed, so without treatment, so know how severe ic flare up can affect, horrendous, l use amitrip and it does cause retention, as does bendro l use, but my bladder fiairly settled at present, though do need dilation, later.  There are many on here whove had different procedures with bladder, who will understand the procedure youve been through and advice, best wishes.
