How likely is it that a headache is a sign of a brain tumor?

I am only 24 but I am wondering how lucky it is that my headaches are a sign of a brain tumor. Would they have to be accompanied by more symptoms to indicate a tumor?

    Yes.

I am not medically trained but I know enough to say to you that if you are worried, you need to go to see a doctor and discuss it.  I had the same concerns and I came away knowing that a brain tumour involves substantially more than just headaches.

    Hi Catherine,

Well, to be diagnosed with a brain tumor you need at least an MRI scan, this will show up on the scan.  Then they will do other tests too.

See your dr and then take it from there.  He will most probably put your mind at rest straight away, or send you for that esential MRI scan

Good luck Catherine and let us know how you get on.

    Take care and best wishes
