So happy for you that you have your surgery date; I remember my first time waiting for my repair surgery and like you was in souch pain and my pessary (ring) kept coming out. I don't drive and clinic was about 20mins on bus and then 20mins walk, and that only if you could get consultants secretary on the phone which was impossible!

Specialist Physiotherapist was a great support and was doing her best to try and get me fast tracked as I was depending most of my time sitting upside down.

When I finally had my surgery they said they didn't realize just how bad a prolapse I had! I was cancelled twice, and third time my consultant was on holiday and had transferred me to another consultant with instructions not to be cancelled again!

I think they are now doing their best to have everyone repaired within a set timescale now, my 2nd repair I was fast tracked very quickly and thank goodness no cancellations that time!

So only 3 weeks then, keeping my fingers crossed they don't cancel, remind us all nearer the time and keep us all informed!

    Phyl x???

Thanks phyl. Sometimes i dont think anyone believes me about just how bad the prolapse is and just how rubbish it can make you feel.

My doctor has written to my surgeon 2 times i think to try and fast track mine and each time i get a letter from the hospital expaining the waiting time! Thanks for that haha.

Been waiting since april but probabky longer than that as i denied anything was wrong for such a long time as after my hysterectomy everything was supposed to get better!

I will most certainly keep you all updated as i hope everyone else does too.
