I have been taking Azathioprine 100mg for about a wk but my urine is very dark and i go more often

Been taking these tablets are a week for crohns but sometimes my Urine is dark and I'm going more often then normal.....is this right?

    In the side effects listed with my tablets "changes to the colour and amount of urine" should be taken up with your GP or IBD nurse as soon as possible.

    Hi Tracy,

    Bearing in mind everyone is different, I was on aza some months ago and don't recall change in urine colour or increased frequency.My advice is get it checked out...could be a urine infection, particularly if you have been dehydrated. I imagine you feel you see enough of the doc, and just wanna get on and get some relief, but best be safe. Good Luck, keep us posted!
