    Hi Emily,

How'd you get on? I have been on accutane for a few months now for mild acne on my face and upper body.

What I can say is that a lot of the red marks just hung around for ages, like they were frozen. Alot have gone now but took weeks longer than usual. i also had a white head that was very small and barely noticeable, that just stayed under the skin. I think it's because people with acne have a high turnover of skin, which means that deadskin sheds faster than the pores can cope with. The Accutane slows this down so acne under the skin takes longer to surface. All I can say is, I tried a number of times over a period of months but it finally came out with a bit of gentle persuasion about a month ago.

How are things going with you now?
