In need of advice about vitamins and supplements

Hi all,

iv iv been taking a multivitamin tablet for about a year, I then started taking sea kelp as I was told by a friend it made her hair grow. Iv had trouble sleeping for years, and was informed taking magnesium and zinc could help, so purchased two seperate tablets for them too. I thought to myself that I was taking a lot of supplements so decided to research if I was taking too much and was horrified by what came up! Is there truly any benefit to taking vitamin tablets? Wondering if I would be best stopping the lot and trying to get the vitamins from food, or home made remedies. Any advice would be greatly appreciated smile

The real benefit from taking supplements is that you have very expensive pee and boost the profits of the supplement companies. Ideally a good diet is much better. Of course sometimes supplements are needed if you are found to be deficient.

You can get it fresh or tinned. It is a speciality from Wales. You do not have to have cockles or bacon with it!
