Is my ulcer coming back?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I was diagnosed with H. pylori infection and duodenal ulcer. The doctor prescribed me to take metronidazole, clarithromycin and lansoprazole for one week. Then I went back and had an endoscopy and found out that my ulcers were healing and I needed to take lansoprazole for another 5 weeks and domperidone for 7 days.

After I finished taking domperidone I started to feel better, so I ate small amounts of fried food, pork, broccoli and peas because my stomach can tolerate "normal" foods, then sometimes after eating I can feel my stomach rumbling. I also experience stomach pain that goes away when i burp or fart.

      Thanks for replying.

Btw how are feeling now? do feel "normal"?

When you were taking amoxicillin what are the noticable side effects that you experienced? Because my doctor prescribed me with metronidazole instead of amox, I was so depressed and always feel tired, I can't even sleep well and can't go to class. It was so diffucult for me.

And also, did your doctor gave you domperidone?
