Is this sinus related?

To be brief I had a CT sinus scan last week (awaiting results).  My symptoms are : heavy head pressure, blocked nostrils, vertigo, forehead headaches.  Am taking Nortryptyline for MRV (migraine related vertigo)  but think I've been mis -diagnosed.   What could this be?

I can relate. I had a sinus X-ray and head CT, both normal. I have headaches, head pressure and dizziness. It's been going on for several months. I don't think it's sinus related and more to do with my neck and posture (I've been told I have poor posture). I'm seeing a spine specialist and neurologist in the next month. I really would like to know what the heck I'm dealing with cause then I can treated it correctly. Very frustrating! I'm glad I found this forum because I realize I'm not the only one who is struggling trying to find out what's wrong!

Have had MRI of brain too.  I'm sort of expecting an answer from my CT sinus scan to explain my symptoms.  I don't really know much about sinus problems and can't somehow imagine my symptoms being related to sinuses.  Just need to get it sorted.

hi Carina, yes I had those symptoms. Diagnosed with auto immune disorder 12 years ago now. Very long and frustrating path to diagnosis. Don't expect your scans to shed any light on this. Never did for me either. I got a diagnosis after being referred to an immunologist. That's where I think your answer lies. x

Well had the results of my CT sinus scan and all normal so can't now blame my symptoms on sinuses, guess I'll just have to learn to live with it but glad results are OK.

Carina I too had clear scans of everything. I think that your symptoms are possibly being caused by vasculitis which causes inflammation. That doesn't show up on a scan.
