ive been experiancing these "floaters in my vision ever since like 4 months ago im not sure what cuased it maybe it was that time i was poked in the eye 4 months ago so ive been wondering if it was a retinal tear or detachment but even that seems far fetched becuase if it was im sue id be blind by now but what im really worried about is that its gradually geting worse theres more floaters and now theres floaters in my right eye and now theres even red streaks in my left eye  and when i look at the sky its like it sparkles or something and i also experiance rainbow halos at night around bright lights such as a lamp lihgt or a iphone flash light and im really starting to freak out im 16 y/o and i explained this to my parents but they say it eill blow over or its in my mind can someone explain whats going on am i really crazy?!

Not sure what if anything is going on but perhaps you could make an appointment to see your doctor and have a chat to him/ her about it which should put your mind at rest.

I do not think the floaters are a lot to worry about as many people experience them.

Do not get crazy about the symptoms within your eyes that you are getting!

Halos around bright lights such as street lamps can be a sign of Glaucoma but I remember seeing these halos around the streetlamps when I was a child back in1960's at 5 years old in UK - I do not have these symptoms now but do have a  problem with dry eyes. I just think rather than looking for answers - just go and see your optician or doctor and get appropriate advice.

I am sure that you will be fine but need to be reassured!

i also have newer symptoms i see ghosting when im at shcool and the light is off and the teacher does a powerpoint with the black words and the white backround i see the letters ghosting up to its kinda like i see the word beuno and it looks like there also beuno above the normal world but its half beuno like split in half above the actual word its not so bad i can still ready the letters when i adjust my view point it tends to get less noticable i have had this solely in my right eye but now its also in my left eye but little less worse. i fell like these symptoms got worse after squinched my eyes very hard till i felt a shock pain in my eye like 4 months ago and ive been feeling the same pain sometimes when im laying on my bed biting my fingernails at night it happened only 2 times but it last like 1 seconds

Are you in a position to see an eye doctor at an eye hospital or to go to an eyehospital where they have emergency eye casualty?
