Oh my - you certainly have had your share of serious health issues - I am just so sorry:-( I, too, have had continued "phantom" gallbladder pain since mine was removed nearly 2 years ago, very similar to the original pain. It is very frustrating. I did find out however after seeing a first specialist 2 months ago the pain I was then experiencing was actually liver pain, and enzyme levels were up. I have found for myself it has affected markedly my digestive system, no matter what I eat (and I have stayed on a very low fat diet ever since the surgery). I will be seeing a second specialist tomorrow about this and hope to get more answers. I will post anything helpful to you that I might find out. I truly wish you all the best - there are many of us out there with this post-operative problem, unfortunately.

Just wondering if you have contacted the doctor who you dealt with with respect to your kidney about your back pain?
I am concerned that your back pain may not be due to your gallbladder problems.

I had my gall bladder out in December 16 , and i still have phantom gall bladder pains under my ribs and in my shoulder blade andd back.
Check with your GP for peace of mind... but i know a lot of people who still get symptoms , if i eat the wrong things i can have it really bad.
So it is a trail and error for now, it is early days.
Good luck
but still mention to your GP xx
