Hi, I have a similar problem. I went to see (privately), Mr Khatri at Fullwood Hall, Preston - his NHS practice is based at Royal Preston Hospital. He's very thorough...hope this helps. Btw, I'm currently awaiting a decision on whether I need/should have surgery to correct my kyphosis. Good luck

    thx Mzdv123,

Looking for something around London or London itself

Being realistic, unless you can pay to go privately, you will have a restricted choice. Also you want someone in your area -London.

Having said that, I believe your GP will have a range of specialists to whom he or she can refer you. Do as you are doing - research and ask.

If you wanted someone on the south coast, I could make a recommendation!

Hi,  Mr Blagg at Stoke Mandeville Hosptial, in Buckinghamshire. He heads up the spinal unit that is world wide known for spinal injuries. He also works at the  BMI Chiltern Hospital Great Missenden Bucks. He operated on me Feb 2015 for scoliosis from my T2 - L2. He would not do it at the private hospital so he transfered me across to NHS Stoke. Hope this may help, best wishes on your decision.

Hi, Also know of a Mr Harrison who works at the BMI Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor Berks. He is very good and would have operated on me too.

    Hi

You could try getting in touch with SAUK (Scoliosis Association UK) and asking them for recommendations.  They will provide you with a list of doctors in your area that have a special interest in kyphosis/scoliosis

    Hi Shina,

I would recommend The Wimbledon Clinic (in Wimbledon) - they helped to treat my scoliokyphosis and were really good
