Lorazepam and diazepam

Ive been diagnosed with G.A.D and have serious problrms sleeping. Was taking 3mg of diazepam for the past fortnight but have run out last night im just wondering if i can take 1mg of lorazepam yo help me sleep tonight before i see my doctor again tomorrow. Just wanna know if its safe due to my anxiety. Thanks in advance

    Hi Haighpoo,

     I too have sleeping problems. I'm bipolar but mostly manic. I want to stay up all night working  on the computer. My psychiatrist won't prescribe a sleep medication because he says I'm over medicated already. So I take an over the counter medication for sleep called Nytol. Works great. I take 1 at 9 PM and by 11 I'm ready for bed. It's cheap... only $8.00 for a bottle of 20 capsules. Hoipefully it's available in your country.

    Hi I too ave serious sleep problems never had lorazepam but I take zolpidem at nite which I get a few hours from but that's it I did take diazepam but doctor won't prescribe it anymore for me xx

      Lorazepam is basically the same as what you were taking...its an anxiety med..I take it every night and I take one during the day sometimes...harmless..and you will wake up feeling refreshed...that's why I love it.  I have been taking it for 9 years....I know this was 19 days ago....so how did it go?
