Masking Tinnitus

I've heard about the various methods of covering the sound of white noise by using a masking hearing aid, and other various methods. And am wondering if these methods work well to forget about your tinnitus.

Thanks

You've only just got it, it's too early to think about that. Try to let it settle and see a specialist if it persists, but it's very early days your ears may just have had a bashing and need to settle down.

A music pillow is essential, i use it to play violet noise, i very rarely notice my Tinnitus, perhaps once to twice a weak, generally in a really quiet room or when the noise goes higher temporarily (which always scares the sh*t out of me).

Oh this sounds like a good idea, could I walk around with it on my head all day!!!!

I'm listening to a continuous loup of rain and thunder as I type, quite relaxing. But interested in all ways of coping.
