Menieres- Help please!!

My boyfriend suffered a neck injury about 15 years ago. He had surgery for that whiplash and has seen Chiro's since. Symptoms include: allergies, sinus issues, sudden BPPV, sudden chronic Vertigo not benign, aggressive sneezing from time to time, red eyes, lower back pain, neck pain, head aches. He has been a mess to say the least for a very long time. He sees an ENT, a PT, Chiro's beyond Chiro's, acupuncture, massage. We don't know what the ultimate fix is- or what this disorder is. He has taken oils from an allergy Specialist to alleviate those systems yet some days he wakes up and is in a super funk because of his vertigo. We have established that it is not benign because it is more than one position. I have also witnessed us working through exercises where his eyes go completely crazy (in the sense that they spasm like crazy with head movement) I only joined this forum because I don't know what solution to provide and I also don't know if this is an unresolvable issue or there is something we can do (he can do) to improve the current situation. I want him healthy and I want to help. I would love to see any and all improvement and recovery efforts!! Thank you!

I am not sure about sinus and allergies. Exept of it, I do

experience most of described symptoms and also nausea,

vomiting, hearing lost , tinnitus. I did a lot of tests .Vertigo tests, MRI.My diagnosis not finalized. You should ask his doctor to

send him to other specialist. Correct diagnostic extremely

important. I have appointment next week at Sunny Brook

Hospital. They are considered the best at dissiness and vertigo.

I am waiting for 6 month. You should continue search for

diagnostic. Keep up. You need to help him to relax and to minimize stress. Vacation can be great. Pozitive amottions helping

more that all. Go out. Parks , walking trails....

The difference between BPPV and Meneres is that position

vertigo can be trained and Meneres need to be stabilized. I was diagnosed BPPV at the beginning .Started to train it and make it worse. Be careful with exercises.

This doesn't sound like MD to me. Does he have the fullness feeling in his ear? I would keep pushing for correct diagnosis.
