metformin side effects (PCOS) should i be concerned?

Posted , 2 users are following.

Started taking it about a month ago, 500 mg first week then up to 1000 mg. After upping the dose the second week I developed a sneezy, runny nose which has at this point added a deep cough and headaches. At first I thought maybe a cold or allergies but it gets worse. Anyone else experience this?

No, never had that happen. Do make sure you are taking vitamin suplaments. Metformin depletes B.

    Hopefully you are feeling better.

When taking Metformin for PCOS thats normal, the side effects have been so bad. I was so weak after increasing dose form 850 to 1700. No any experince on diabetes patients. Hope you are now feeling better.
