Metronizadole

Everytime I take metronizadole my lyme symptoms go haywire I get pain muscle twitching goes crazy , is this a herx ?

    Very possibly. I recall being on Doxycycline and, after one week, had terrible muscle spasms and felt completely out of it for a few hours. I continued with the Doxy and after a day or two the Herx eased.

      Thank you for replying to me im on both at the moment I am chronic Lyme so frustrating atm so think you are proberly right again thankyou

      Yes, it is frustrating. Sometimes it can feel like you take two steps forward and one step back. Hang on in there. x
