MRCP Test

Hi has anyone had an MRCP test? And if so how long after having it done did you get the results? Thank you in advance

    Hi Coral never heard of a MRCP TEST did you mean a ERCP? THATS WHEN I THEY RETRIVE ANY STONES FROM THE BILE DUCT OOOPS SORRY ABT CAps they told me straight after that they got 7 stones xxxx

      My consultant said the ERCP test is a last resort as it is very dangerous. He said a MRCP test is less invasive. Its where they insert a cannula and inject dye into your body then you go into the MRI scanner for around 35-45 minutes

    Oh sorry I had an MRI scan that's when they saw stones in my bile duct I had to have an emergency ERCP and a week later I had my gall bladder removed. XXX
