Was it 800mgs? If so you are supposed to take it with food to prevent heartburn. It can cause gastritis which is inflammation of the stomach lining if it's too potent for your stomach. If your not taking it with food try cutting the pills in half with a pill cutter and do that. The heartburn I would

Go get a pack of omeprazole and take the 14 day pack and you should feel better.

I took mine with food for 5 days, twice a day. It's only today that the heartburn, central chest pains and the feeling of needing to burp all the time. I was prescribed naproxen for neck pain but if I'm honest I'd rather have the neck pain then the heartburn I'm having right now.

I suffer from health anxiety so having chest pains makes my anxiety worse!!

Hope you all feel better soon .
