Need advice on what to do about swollen lymph glands?

Hi, so I've had symptoms for a while now,  the current symptoms have been since around January, and to cut a long story short, I've had ct scan recently which has shown lymph glands in my neck and stomach. My other symptoms include an awful rash  on my neck/chest area which had to be treated by dermatologist, and chest pain, stomach pain and constipation, itchy legs, and fatigue/general malaise. The doctor has now said that they are not sure what the cause is  of  the lymph glands or the other symptoms as there is nothing else on scan apart from them, and I don't know what to do now, as I've got to have another scan in a couple of months time.. Do I ask to see a lymph/blood specialist? or have more blood tests (haven;t had any since March)? or ask for biopsy? not sure what to do as still feeling poorly and got to wait again!

    Hi jess

Sorry to hear about your troublesome symptoms. Having read quite a lot on these symptoms it sounds like it could be lupus or some other autoimmune disease. A rash and swollen lymph nodes are signs of these. The immune system is attacking something which isn't there which leads to the symptoms. It's hard to diagnose as there is no actual test for it all they can do is try to rule out anything else and reach a conclusion based on that.

Hope you get the answers you want soon
