I've had anxiety for about 10 months now and I used to get really anxious just being out and have full panic attacks every time but I don't get them as much anymore.
Everyday now I get random negative thoughts that I don't like which make me anxious.
I was at gym yesterday deadlifting for reps and I started feeling dizzy and lightheaded then I over thought it and felt 10 times worse.
What can I do to stop these thoughts causing me anxiety?
It's stopping me doing everyday things, ive just left college and scared to go to university and get a job incase I get this anxious and panic.
My anxiety started after taking a fat burner that gave me a huge panic attack after gym.
I always overthink everything.
Also I've always been scared of public speaking, as in talking in front of groups of people and giving presentations which I really am scared of facing.
I’ve been constantly tired since I had anxiety disorder and feel like nothing is real.
It’s so scary.
Please just reassure me that this is anxiety and help me.
Thank you!

Well first of all being an over thinker is not a bad thing do you know a lot of famous people were the same a lot of these people also had the same syptoms as you are feeling one comes to mind Winston Churchill now I don't think you would call him a wimp!!
Second it is just a phase your going through it's not for ever. There are a lot of changes going on at the moment think about it going to University is a big step for anyone it's changes that can bring on anxiety attacks.
I would take a look at sites that promote POSITVE thinking instead of dwelling on your syptoms you know what it is and it is just the body being extra sensitve so all your feeling are magnified bit like shaking up a can of coke. Your young by the sound of it and have a great future in front of you don't let this stop you doing what you want and follow your dreams. Make sure you get enough sleep is important have a laugh with your mates when you can. Focus on what is positive in your life at the moment. Same happend to me many years ago when I did weights thought the worst and 30 years later I am still here..
Take care

Worrying like this is not abnormal, your body is looking for signs of something wrong so it can protect you, however this is going a bit hay wire. Think about a house alarm that goes off even if the wind blows. It means well but its not responding to the right stimuli. This can all be fixed.
Have a look at some self help CBT and the emotion, thoughts, actions vicious circle. The gym example; you are deadlifting, you started to feel dizzy and interpreted this as something dangerous because of the anxiety attack you had with the fatburner. You then start thinking its all happening again, you're in danger, youre going to have a panic attack so you feel scared and anxious. This is turn makes you not want to go to the gym, makes panicking seem even more scary and keeps anxiety going. It is a cycle all anxious thinkers have been though/are going through.
What I would do is reassure yourself that you are not taking that fat burner, so this won't happen. When you get the thoughts, remind yourself that this is anxiety. The faulty alarm is going off but there is no danger. Your body has learnt to associate light hededness with something dangerous and it just needs to be unlearned.
Even if you panic what will happen? It is unpleasant but you will not go crazy, do anything stupid and nobody will notice unless you tell them. The best thing you can do with panic is actually feel it and realise it cannot hurt you. You will then stop worrying it will happen, because you will know it is just a feeling that can't hurt you.
It is easier said than done but it is possible!
Hope this helps x
